AdvyForm P0409 is a non-stabilised polypropylene homopolymer powder for compounding. Its main applications are mineral-filled compounds and colour and additive masterbatches.
Description
AdvyForm P0409 is a non-pelletised, non-stabilised polypropylene homopolymer powder. Once pelletised and additivated, it is suitable for injection moulding and extrusion applications. Its main applications are mineral-filled compounds and colour and additive masterbatches. The TDS reports typical properties measured on pelletised and additivated resin, including a melt flow rate of 1.2 g/10 min (230 °C/2.16 kg), a tensile modulus of 1450 MPa (23 °C) and a Vicat softening temperature of 153 °C (A50). These values do not describe the powder as supplied.
Processing Techniques
Supplier-listed processing method: compounding. The powder is supplied without stabilisation; the TDS describes injection moulding and extrusion suitability only after pelletising and additivation. Determine processing conditions for the intended application and required properties.
