— ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Who makes these grades
Velogy is a European producer of olefins and polyolefins, with its headquarters in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It makes polypropylene and polyethylene at four sites: Berre-l’Étang in France, Münchsmünster in Germany, Tarragona in Spain and Carrington in the United Kingdom.
Velogy sells its polymers in three product families: KeyForm, AdvyForm and CertyForm. Genesis Polymers Europe, part of the Ravago Group, is Velogy’s distribution partner in most European markets. We supply the grades and support customers with technical expertise, from grade selection to developing new products and applications.
For established grades, the move to the Velogy names did not change the material’s properties or specifications.
— VISION
What Velogy stands for
Velogy’s stated ambition is to be “Europe’s partner of choice for high-performing materials”. Three things stand behind it:
Made in Europe. Four production sites in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, close to European converters.
Own feedstock. Berre and Münchsmünster run their own crackers, which supply the feedstock for their polymer plants. Carrington receives its feedstock by pipeline from the Stanlow refinery.
Close to the application. Velogy works with customers from the early stages of development to match materials to the application.
In Velogy’s own words: “Where others are slowed by layers, you get ownership.”
