Description

Histif 5431 Z is a high-density polyethylene combining excellent stiffness with outstanding environmental stress crack resistance, featuring a tensile modulus of 1200 MPa and exceptional low-temperature toughness with 80 kJ/m² notched Charpy impact at -30°C. With a density of 0.954 g/cm³ and HLMI of 2.6 g/10 min, Histif 5431 Z is purpose-built for extrusion blow moulded L-ring drums and industrial packaging for dangerous goods.

Processing Techniques

Extrusion blow moulding is the primary conversion method for Histif 5431 Z, where its low HLMI of 2.6 g/10 min provides the high melt strength needed for stable parison formation in large drum production. Histif 5431 Z delivers consistent wall thickness distribution and strong weld lines critical for dangerous goods packaging compliance.
