Description

Hostalen ACP 5831 D is a high-density polyethylene with a broad molecular weight distribution, offering very high stiffness at 1350 MPa tensile modulus and excellent stress crack resistance at a density of 0.958 g/cm³. With an MFR of 0.30 g/10 min (2.16 kg), Hostalen ACP 5831 D is tailored for small extrusion blow moulded containers including thin-wall packaging, consumer goods, and toys.

Processing Techniques

Extrusion blow moulding is the recommended conversion route for Hostalen ACP 5831 D, where its broad MWD and low MFR deliver the melt strength needed for thin-wall container production with consistent wall thickness. Hostalen ACP 5831 D contains antioxidants for processing stability and supports downgauging opportunities thanks to its high rigidity.
