Lupolen 2420 D

Natural
Description
Lupolen 2420D is a non-additivated low-density polyethylene with high melt strength and an MFR of 0.25 g/10 min, a density of 0.923 g/cm³, and a dart drop impact strength of 250 g. Lupolen 2420D delivers excellent bubble stability during blown film extrusion and produces films with good toughness and tear resistance for flexible packaging applications.
Processing Techniques
Blown film extrusion is the primary process for Lupolen 2420D, where its high melt strength at 0.25 g/10 min MFR ensures outstanding bubble stability even at high line speeds. Maintain consistent melt temperatures to optimise optical properties, and Lupolen 2420D also performs well as a blend component to boost melt strength in coextruded film structures.
