Description

Hostalen ACP 5531 B is a high-density polyethylene with excellent stiffness and ESCR, delivering a tensile modulus of 1250 MPa and tensile impact strength of 90 kJ/m² at a density of 0.954 g/cm³. Designed for extrusion blow moulded jerry cans and industrial packaging for dangerous goods, Hostalen ACP 5531 B also supports lightweight container designs through its optimised mechanical property balance.

Processing Techniques

Extrusion blow moulding is the primary process for Hostalen ACP 5531 B, where its MFR of 0.45 g/10 min (5 kg load) provides the melt strength required for stable parison formation in jerry can production. Hostalen ACP 5531 B enables consistent wall distribution and strong weld-line integrity, which is critical for containers holding hazardous materials.
