Hostalen ACP 7740 F2 is a medium molecular weight HDPE with a narrow molecular weight distribution, offering a tensile modulus of 1000 MPa at a density of 0.948 g/cm³ and featuring antioxidant protection. Hostalen ACP 7740 F2 excels on tape stretching and film stretching lines, producing slit film, tapes, and round bale nets with high tensile strength, high elongation, and low fibrillation for agricultural and construction netting.

Processing Techniques

Blown film extrusion is the recommended conversion method for Hostalen ACP 7740 F2, where consistent melt stability and bubble cooling control are critical for producing uniform tapes and nets. With an MFR of 1.8 g/10 min (5 kg) and peak melting point of 130°C, Hostalen ACP 7740 F2 processes reliably across all standard tape and film stretching equipment.
