Hostalen ACP 7740 F3

Natural
Description
Hostalen ACP 7740 F3 is a medium molecular weight HDPE with a specially tailored narrow molecular weight distribution, providing a tensile modulus of 900 MPa at a density of 0.946 g/cm³ and containing antioxidants for processing stability. Hostalen ACP 7740 F3 delivers outstanding mechanical properties in finished tapes with excellent tensile strength and low fibrillation, making it the grade of choice for round bale nets in agricultural applications.
Processing Techniques
Blown film extrusion is the primary process for Hostalen ACP 7740 F3, which exhibits very good bubble stability for reliable net and tape production. At an MFR of 1.6 g/10 min (5 kg) and melting point of 130°C, Hostalen ACP 7740 F3 runs consistently on all common tape-stretching lines with minimal adjustment from standard processing parameters.
