Flexible packaging

Flexible packaging is often a balance of process stability, seal behavior, optics and mechanical performance. Typical decision questions include: Does the film need stiffness or puncture resistance? What sealing window is needed? Is the structure mono-material for recycling design?
We support flexible packaging converters by helping narrow PE/PP candidates and by providing the relevant technical and safety documents needed for audits and customer qualification.
Where we typically support
- Blown film lines producing liners, heavy duty bags, shrink films, and general packaging films
- Coex structures where the LDPE layer contributes sealability, toughness, or process stability
Relevant grades
- Lupolen 2420 D - lower melt flow LDPE
- Lupolen 2420 F - mid melt flow LDPE
- Lupolen 2426 H - LDPE with antiblock/slip additivation
Typical selection questionsIf you ask us for “a film grade”, we will ask back: blown or cast, thickness range, and what problem you’re trying to solve (bubble stability, optics, seal, downgauging, or output).
