PP homopolymer
Purell HP570M

Natural
Description
Purell HP570M is a polypropylene homopolymer compatible with autoclave and ethylene oxide sterilization, featuring an MFR of 7.5 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1400 MPa, and a ball indentation hardness of 64 MPa. Designed for the healthcare market, Purell HP570M serves medical device components, closures, and labware parts where sterilization compatibility and mechanical reliability are non-negotiable. With a Charpy notched impact of 4.5 kJ/m² and tensile strain at break exceeding 50%, this grade provides the toughness and durability healthcare applications demand.
Processing Techniques
Injection molding and cast film extrusion are both viable processing routes for Purell HP570M, with the 7.5 g/10 min MFR providing a balanced flow suitable for medium-wall medical components and film structures. Purell HP570M maintains its mechanical properties after autoclave and EtO sterilization, which should be considered when setting processing parameters to avoid over-crystallization. Mold temperature and cooling rate control are important for achieving the dimensional accuracy and surface finish required in medical device manufacturing with Purell HP570M.
