PP homopolymer
Purell HP570U

Natural
Description
Purell HP570U is an ultra-high-flow polypropylene homopolymer with an MFR of 75 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1350 MPa, and compatibility with autoclave and ethylene oxide sterilization, developed primarily for 3-part syringes, closures, and thin-wall medical applications. With a density of 0.90 g/cm³ and low-warpage performance, Purell HP570U enables the production of precision healthcare components with complex geometries and tight tolerances. The food contact suitability of this grade extends its reach beyond medical devices into demanding packaging applications.
Processing Techniques
Injection molding is the primary process for Purell HP570U, where the 75 g/10 min MFR allows rapid, low-pressure filling of thin-wall syringe barrels and complex medical device molds. Purell HP570U achieves minimal warpage even in flat, thin-section parts, which is essential for functional medical components like syringe bodies and diagnostic housings. The grade supports both autoclave and EtO sterilization, so processing parameters should ensure crystallization levels that maintain post-sterilization dimensional stability.
