Hostalen ACP 6541A

Natural
Description
Hostalen ACP 6541A is a high-density polyethylene delivering an outstanding balance of stiffness, toughness, and environmental stress crack resistance, with a tensile modulus of 1100 MPa and 11 kJ/m² notched Charpy impact at 23°C. At an MFR of 1.45 g/10 min and density of 0.954 g/cm³, Hostalen ACP 6541A is purpose-built for single-piece beverage closures for carbonated soft drinks, mineral water, and collapsible tube shoulders.
Processing Techniques
Injection moulding and compression moulding are the primary processes for Hostalen ACP 6541A, which allows melt temperature reductions of up to 40°C versus conventional closure grades, delivering significant cycle time savings. Hostalen ACP 6541A has been validated in industrial trials for high-throughput closure production with consistent opening torque and seal performance.
