Hostalen ACP 6541A UV

Natural
Description
Hostalen ACP 6541A UV is a UV-stabilised high-density polyethylene formulated for beverage closures and collapsible tubes, providing a tensile modulus of 1100 MPa, 11 kJ/m² notched Charpy impact at 23°C, and optimised organoleptic properties at a density of 0.954 g/cm³. Hostalen ACP 6541A UV enables single-piece closure designs for carbonated soft drinks and mineral water with scope for downgauging, while its UV additive package protects against light-induced degradation.
Processing Techniques
Compression moulding and injection moulding are the recommended conversion routes for Hostalen ACP 6541A UV, which supports melt temperature reductions of approximately 40°C compared to conventional grades without compromising fill quality. Hostalen ACP 6541A UV has demonstrated significant cycle time improvements in industrial trials, making it well suited for high-volume beverage closure production.
