PP impact copolymer
Moplen 2000HEXP

Natural
Description
Moplen 2000HEXP is a polypropylene impact copolymer engineered for outstanding low-temperature toughness, featuring an MFR of 16 g/10 min (230°C/2.16 kg), a density of 0.89 g/cm³, and a flexural modulus of 1000 MPa. With its medium-flow processability and high impact resistance, Moplen 2000HEXP serves as an excellent base resin for automotive interior and exterior compound development, luggage components, and closures. Genesis Polymers supplies Moplen 2000HEXP in natural pellet form, ready for technical compounding and injection moulding operations.
Processing Techniques
Injection moulding is the primary processing method for Moplen 2000HEXP, and its 16 g/10 min melt flow rate ensures reliable cavity filling across a range of mould geometries. Moplen 2000HEXP is also well suited to compounding lines where it acts as a carrier resin for mineral fillers or additives destined for automotive applications. Maintain melt temperatures in the standard PP copolymer window of 200–240°C and allow adequate cooling time to preserve the grade's impact performance.
