PP impact copolymer
Moplen EF300K

Natural
Description
Moplen EF300K is a low-flow polypropylene impact copolymer supplied in flake form, delivering a tensile modulus of 1200 MPa and a notched Charpy impact strength of 10.5 kJ/m² at 23°C, with dependable toughness retained down to -20°C (4 kJ/m²). With an MFR of 4 g/10 min and a density of 0.90 g/cm³, Moplen EF300K provides the stiffness-impact combination that colour masterbatch producers, mineral-filled compound manufacturers, and woodstock compounders require. Its uniform flake particle size distribution ensures consistent feeding and dispersion on twin-screw compounding lines.
Processing Techniques
Compounding is the intended processing route for Moplen EF300K, and the fine, regular flake geometry promotes steady extruder intake and uniform additive or pigment distribution. When running Moplen EF300K on co-rotating twin-screw equipment, target barrel temperatures of 190–230°C and adjust screw speed to achieve thorough melt homogeneity without degrading impact properties. The Vicat softening temperature of 150°C confirms good thermal stability during downstream pelletising or strand cutting.
