PP homopolymer
Moplen HF501N

Natural
Description
Moplen HF501N is a polypropylene homopolymer powder with a melt flow rate of 10 g/10 min and a density of 0.90 g/cm3, designed as a versatile base resin for compounding operations. With a tensile modulus of 1550 MPa and Vicat softening temperature of 155 degC, Moplen HF501N is well suited for mineral-filled compounds, colour masterbatches, and additive concentrates used across the furniture and consumer goods sectors. Once pelletized and properly additivated, this grade delivers reliable stiffness and processability for downstream injection moulding applications.
Processing Techniques
Compounding is the primary conversion method for Moplen HF501N, which is supplied as a non-stabilised powder requiring the compounder to tailor the additive package to the end application. Moplen HF501N processes smoothly on twin-screw extruders at standard PP homopolymer barrel temperatures (200-240 degC), and its medium flow character supports good filler incorporation and dispersion. Ensure thorough drying and consistent feeder rates to maintain uniform output when blending Moplen HF501N with mineral fillers or pigment concentrates.
