PP homopolymer
Moplen HP452J

Natural
Description
Moplen HP452J is a polypropylene homopolymer with an MFR of 3.4 g/10 min and a density of 0.900 g/cm3, specifically formulated with an anti-gasfading stabilisation package for the production of high-tenacity staple fibres and nonwovens. With a Vicat softening temperature of 155 degC and heat deflection temperature of 85 degC, Moplen HP452J offers excellent thermal stability for demanding textile and geotextile applications. This grade serves markets ranging from filament yarns and furniture textiles to agricultural geotextiles and hygiene nonwovens.
Processing Techniques
Fibre spinning is the primary conversion method for Moplen HP452J, where consistent melt stability and rigorous filtration are essential to producing defect-free filaments and staple fibres. When processing Moplen HP452J on spunbond or staple fibre lines, ensure uniform temperature distribution across the spinneret and maintain strict contamination control to prevent fibre breakage. Moplen HP452J benefits from its gas-fading resistant formulation, which helps preserve colour integrity during high-temperature processing and throughout the product lifecycle.
