PP homopolymer
Moplen HP510M

Natural
Description
Moplen HP510M is a polypropylene homopolymer for cast film production with an MFR of 9.0 g/10 min and a flexural modulus of 1300 MPa, free from slip and anti-blocking additives to maximise optical clarity and gloss in finished films. With a Vicat softening temperature of 153 degC and tensile strain at break of 600%, Moplen HP510M is widely used in food packaging, lamination films, stationery wrapping, and textile packaging where transparency is a key requirement. Moplen HP510M delivers the consistent melt quality and surface finish that converters demand for high-speed cast film operations.
Processing Techniques
Cast film extrusion is the primary process for Moplen HP510M, where its 9.0 g/10 min MFR and additive-free formulation allow converters to achieve outstanding film clarity and gloss without post-treatment. When running Moplen HP510M, maintaining strict contamination and gel control is essential for thin-gauge films, and consistent chill roll temperatures help preserve the high transparency this grade is known for. Moplen HP510M processes well at melt temperatures of 220-260 degC, with die lip cleanliness and uniform melt curtain width being critical to output quality.
