PP homopolymer
Moplen HP515M

Natural
Description
Moplen HP515M is a controlled-rheology polypropylene homopolymer with an MFR of 9.0 g/10 min, a flexural modulus of 1300 MPa, and integrated slip and anti-blocking additives, purpose-built for high-clarity cast film applications. Moplen HP515M offers a Vicat softening temperature of 153 degC and tensile strain at break of 600%, delivering the optical brilliance and mechanical durability needed for food packaging, lamination, stationery, and textile packaging films. Its ready-to-run additive package makes Moplen HP515M a convenient single-resin solution for converters seeking premium film transparency and gloss with reduced need for external additive dosing.
Processing Techniques
Cast film extrusion is the primary conversion route for Moplen HP515M, where its built-in slip and anti-blocking agents ensure smooth film handling, reliable winding, and easy downstream converting without additional masterbatch addition. When processing Moplen HP515M, maintain uniform die temperatures and consistent chill roll cooling to preserve the high clarity and gloss that distinguish this grade from standard PP film resins. Gel control and melt filtration are critical for thin-gauge production, and converters should target melt temperatures of 220-260 degC for optimal output with Moplen HP515M.
