PP homopolymer
Moplen HP552K

Natural
Description
Moplen HP552K is a polypropylene homopolymer with an MFR of 4 g/10 min and a density of 0.900 g/cm3, formulated with anti-gasfading stabilisation for the production of high-tenacity staple fibres and nonwovens. With a Vicat softening temperature of 155 degC and heat deflection temperature of 85 degC, Moplen HP552K provides the thermal stability and colour retention demanded by textile, geotextile, and furniture fabric applications. This grade serves a wide range of fibre markets including filament yarns, agricultural geotextiles, and hygiene nonwovens where Moplen HP552K delivers consistent spinnability and long-term performance.
Processing Techniques
Fibre spinning and staple fibre production are the primary processes for Moplen HP552K, where its moderate MFR of 4 g/10 min supports high draw ratios for strong, high-tenacity fibres. When processing Moplen HP552K, maintain strict melt filtration and temperature uniformity across the spinneret to prevent fibre breaks and ensure consistent denier. The anti-gasfading stabilisation in Moplen HP552K allows for confident production of light-coloured fibres and fabrics that resist yellowing during thermal exposure and storage.
