PP homopolymer
Moplen HP560Y

Natural
Description
Moplen HP560Y is an ultra-high-flow polypropylene homopolymer with an MFR of 1200 g/10 min, produced on a non-phthalate Ziegler-Natta catalyst with a very narrow molecular weight distribution for meltblown nonwoven and compounding applications. Moplen HP560Y enables the production of extremely fine meltblown fibres with superior barrier and filtration performance, targeting converters who demand the highest throughput and finest fibre diameters. The exceptional fluidity of Moplen HP560Y also makes it a valuable component in speciality compounding formulations requiring maximum flow.
Processing Techniques
Meltblown nonwoven production is the primary process for Moplen HP560Y, where its extraordinary MFR of 1200 g/10 min supports the creation of ultra-fine fibres with tight diameter distribution for demanding filtration applications. When running Moplen HP560Y, precise die temperature uniformity and air flow control are essential to prevent shot formation and ensure consistent web quality. Moplen HP560Y requires strict contamination control, as even trace particulates can disrupt the fine fibre formation process at these extreme flow rates.
