PP homopolymer
Moplen HP648T

Natural
Description
Moplen HP648T is a high-flow nucleated polypropylene homopolymer built for fast-cycle injection molding, featuring an MFR of 53 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1600 MPa, and built-in antistatic additivation. This grade serves the rigid packaging and housewares markets, excelling in caps and closures, thin-wall food containers, and non-food packaging where stiffness and dust-free surfaces matter. Moplen HP648T combines a Vicat softening point of 154 °C with a density of 0.90 g/cm³, making it a reliable choice for high-output production lines.
Processing Techniques
Injection molding is the designated process for Moplen HP648T, and its 53 g/10 min MFR enables rapid filling of thin-wall cavities and multi-cavity molds with minimal injection pressure. The nucleated structure accelerates crystallization for reduced cycle times, while the antistatic package eases part ejection and keeps finished items free from dust attraction. Moplen HP648T performs best with moderate melt temperatures in the 200-240 °C range to preserve the balance of stiffness and surface quality.
