Moplen RP220M

Natural
Description
Moplen RP220M is a controlled-rheology random copolymer polypropylene designed for high-transparency cast film production, delivering an MFR of 8.0 g/10 min, a flexural modulus of 700 N/mm², and outstanding elongation at break of 600%. Formulated without slip or antiblocking agents, Moplen RP220M provides converters with a clean base that can be tailored for food packaging, stationery, and textile wrapping films. The combination of excellent clarity, high gloss, and reliable heat weldability makes this grade a top performer in the flexible packaging sector.
Processing Techniques
Cast film extrusion is the primary process for Moplen RP220M, where its controlled rheology ensures consistent output rates and uniform gauge across the web. Maintaining tight temperature control and chill roll settings is important for preserving the optical clarity and gloss that distinguish Moplen RP220M from standard PP film grades. Because this grade contains no slip or antiblock additives, converters should adjust winding tension and nip pressure to manage film-to-film contact behavior.
