Moplen RP225M

Natural
Description
Moplen RP225M is a controlled-rheology polypropylene random copolymer formulated with slip and antiblocking agents for cast film applications, featuring an MFR of 8.0 g/10 min, a flexural modulus of 700 N/mm², and 600% elongation at break. Designed for the flexible packaging market, Moplen RP225M produces films with excellent clarity, high gloss, and dependable heat seal performance for food packaging, stationery, and textile wrapping. The built-in slip and antiblock package streamlines downstream converting and winding operations.
Processing Techniques
Cast film extrusion is the intended process for Moplen RP225M, where its controlled molecular weight distribution provides stable output and consistent film thickness. The integrated slip and antiblock additives in Moplen RP225M reduce coefficient of friction and prevent blocking on the roll, simplifying converting and packaging line operations. Converters should focus on chill roll temperature control and die gap settings to maximize the optical properties and seal window this grade offers.
