Moplen EP300N

Natural
Description
Moplen EP300N is a polypropylene heterophasic copolymer delivering an MFR of 15 g/10 min, a flexural modulus of 1050 MPa, and tensile elongation at break of 300%, combining stiffness, toughness, and processability in one grade. Moplen EP300N is an effective choice for injection-moulded packaging, housewares, industrial components, and automotive compounding applications. With a tensile yield stress of 24 MPa and a density of 0.89 g/cm³, Moplen EP300N supports both rigid and semi-rigid part designs that demand long-term durability.
Processing Techniques
Injection moulding is the primary process for Moplen EP300N, and the 15 g/10 min MFR allows confident filling of multi-cavity tools and moderately complex geometries. Moplen EP300N also works well on compounding lines targeting automotive or consumer-goods applications, with recommended barrel settings of 200–240°C. The high 300% elongation at break indicates ductile failure behaviour, which can be advantageous during ejection of deep-draw or snap-fit parts.
