PP impact copolymer
Moplen EP332L

Natural
Description
Moplen EP332L is a polypropylene heterophasic copolymer with an MFR of 7 g/10 min, a flexural modulus of 1200 MPa, and a heat-ageing-resistant additive package, making it a reliable choice for parts subjected to prolonged elevated temperatures. Moplen EP332L offers a well-balanced stiffness-to-impact profile at low temperatures along with low warpage tendency, which is critical for battery cases, automotive under-hood components, and industrial housings. Its tensile yield stress of 26 MPa and 70% elongation at break provide Moplen EP332L with structural integrity and ductile failure characteristics.
Processing Techniques
Injection moulding is the recommended process for Moplen EP332L, with the 7 g/10 min MFR allowing confident filling of medium-complexity moulds used in battery-case and automotive production. Set melt temperatures in the 210–240°C range and ensure even mould cooling to take full advantage of the low-warpage formulation of Moplen EP332L. Adequate hold pressure and controlled cooling rates will preserve the heat-ageing performance that distinguishes this grade.
