Moplen EP448T

Natural
Description
Moplen EP448T is a nucleated polypropylene heterophasic copolymer with antistatic additivation, offering a high MFR of 48 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1250 MPa, and a Charpy impact strength of 5 kJ/m² at 23°C. Moplen EP448T is well suited to high-speed injection moulding of opaque containers, caps, closures, housewares, and toys in the consumer-products and rigid-packaging sectors. Its combination of stiffness (tensile yield of 27 MPa) and built-in antistatic properties makes Moplen EP448T a productive choice for converters seeking fast demoulding and dust-free part surfaces.
Processing Techniques
Injection moulding is the primary process for Moplen EP448T, where the 48 g/10 min MFR supports rapid filling of thin-walled and multi-cavity tools. Moplen EP448T's nucleation shortens crystallisation and allows converters to reduce cycle times without compromising stiffness or impact balance. Process at melt temperatures of 210–240°C, and leverage the antistatic properties to minimise post-moulding dust issues and improve downstream handling of finished Moplen EP448T parts.
