Moplen EP548P

Natural
Description
Moplen EP548P is a nucleated polypropylene heterophasic copolymer with antistatic additivation, offering an MFR of 16 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1450 MPa, and a Charpy impact strength of 8 kJ/m² at 23°C (6 kJ/m² at 0°C). Moplen EP548P is designed for injection-moulded housewares, furniture, cylindrical containers, and crates where high stiffness and reliable demoulding are essential. The antistatic formulation reduces dust attraction on finished parts, while the nucleation package of Moplen EP548P accelerates cycle times for high-throughput production.
Processing Techniques
Injection moulding is the primary process for Moplen EP548P, and the 16 g/10 min MFR ensures smooth filling of medium-to-large houseware and crate moulds. Moplen EP548P's nucleation drives faster crystallisation for reduced cooling time, and the built-in antistatic agent improves handling of stacked or nested finished goods. Process at 210–240°C melt temperatures with uniform mould cooling to achieve the high stiffness (1450 MPa tensile modulus) and consistent wall thickness.
