PP random copolymer
Moplen RP241H

Natural
Description
Moplen RP241H is a clarified, nucleated polypropylene random copolymer offering high transparency and solid impact performance, with a tensile modulus of 900 MPa, an MFR of 1.8 g/10 min, and a density of 0.90 g/cm³. This grade serves the rigid and industrial packaging markets, excelling in consumer goods bottles, industrial containers, and thermoformed parts where visual appeal and toughness are both essential. Moplen RP241H combines a low MFR for superior melt strength with clarified optics that rival some glass-clear materials.
Processing Techniques
Extrusion blow molding, sheet extrusion, and thermoforming are the primary processing routes for Moplen RP241H. The low 1.8 g/10 min MFR provides the melt strength required for stable parison formation in blow molding and consistent sheet thickness for thermoforming. Moplen RP241H benefits from optimized cooling to fully leverage its nucleated crystallization, which improves cycle times and enhances the clarity and gloss of finished bottles and thermoformed containers.
