PP random copolymer
Moplen RP248R

Natural
Description
Moplen RP248R is a clarified polypropylene random copolymer with antistatic additivation, delivering exceptional transparency combined with 6.5 kJ/m² Charpy notched impact at 23 °C and a tensile modulus of 900 MPa. With an MFR of 30 g/10 min, Moplen RP248R flows readily into thin-wall housewares, clear containers, and sports and leisure products where see-through aesthetics and drop resistance are non-negotiable. The antistatic package prevents dust accumulation on finished parts, keeping products looking pristine on retail shelves.
Processing Techniques
Injection molding is the designated method for Moplen RP248R, and its 30 g/10 min MFR supports efficient filling of thin-wall and multi-cavity molds. The nucleated and clarified formulation of Moplen RP248R promotes rapid crystallization for shorter cycles while maintaining the high transparency buyers in consumer products and rigid packaging expect. Mold temperatures in the 20-40 °C range will optimize both optical properties and the impact retention that this grade is known for.
