PP random copolymer
Moplen RP340N

Natural
Description
Moplen RP340N is a nucleated polypropylene random copolymer for injection molding, combining an MFR of 11 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1150 MPa, and outstanding optical properties with an organoleptic profile suited to food industry requirements. This grade excels in caps and closures, clear containers, housewares, and sports and leisure products across the consumer and rigid packaging markets. Moplen RP340N offers 6 kJ/m² Charpy notched impact at 23 °C, providing the toughness needed for everyday use applications while maintaining excellent transparency.
Processing Techniques
Injection molding is the intended process for Moplen RP340N, where its 11 g/10 min MFR provides a good balance between flow and mechanical performance for medium-wall and multi-cavity tooling. The nucleated formulation of Moplen RP340N accelerates crystallization for shorter cycle times and improved productivity, while the clarified additive package ensures the brilliant transparency buyers expect. Mold temperatures of 20-40 °C are recommended to optimize both optical clarity and dimensional accuracy.
