PP random copolymer
Moplen RP348U

Natural
Description
Moplen RP348U is a high-fluidity clarified polypropylene random copolymer with antistatic additivation, featuring an MFR of 75 g/10 min, a tensile modulus of 1100 MPa, and 4.5 kJ/m² Charpy notched impact at 23 °C. This grade is purpose-built for thin-wall housewares, clear containers, and food packaging where complex part geometries and ultra-fast cycle times are critical. Moplen RP348U achieves excellent transparency and gloss even in very thin sections, making it a preferred choice for consumer products and rigid packaging converters.
Processing Techniques
Injection molding is the primary method for Moplen RP348U, where its exceptionally high 75 g/10 min MFR allows complete filling of very thin-wall molds and complex geometries with minimal injection pressure. Moplen RP348U supports some of the shortest cycle times available in the random copolymer range, driven by its nucleated crystallization and high flow. The antistatic package ensures clean demolding and dust-free finished parts, reducing the need for post-molding cleaning in food packaging and housewares applications.
