AdvyForm E0400 is a low-flow polypropylene heterophasic copolymer for film extrusion where high mechanical properties matter most. It contains no antiblocking or slip additives.
Description
AdvyForm E0400 is a low-flow polypropylene heterophasic copolymer for extrusion applications where high mechanical properties matter most. It contains no antiblocking or slip additives. The supplier reports that it is normally extruded as single-layer film for lamination onto other substrates, giving structures that can be processed under high retorting conditions. Reported uses also include adhesive-tape film, freezer film, pipes, fittings, extrusion blow-moulded containers and heavy-duty bags. The supplier describes high impact, good puncture and tear resistance, and high seal strength and seal integrity. Typical values include a melt flow rate of 0.95 g/10 min (230 °C/2.16 kg, ISO 1133-1) and notched Charpy impact strengths of 50 kJ/m² at 23 °C and 5 kJ/m² at -20 °C (ISO 179, Type 1, edgewise, notch A).
