AdvyForm R1052 is a slightly modified polypropylene random copolymer for cast film. It contains slip and antiblocking additives.

Description

AdvyForm R1052 is a slightly modified polypropylene random copolymer used for cast film. It contains slip and antiblocking additives, listed in the TDS as 2000 ppm erucamide slip and 1600 ppm antiblock. The supplier describes very good processability, and films with good clarity, high gloss and high heat weldability. Typical values include a melt flow rate of 8.5 g/10 min (230 °C/2.16 kg) and a flexural modulus of 1100 N/mm² (ISO 178).

Processing Techniques

Supplier-listed processing method: cast film. Specific resin and processing recommendations need the end use, required properties and fabrication equipment to be known.
